DEPARTMENT 04
HOW THE MACHINE RUNS
01
BUY $WORK
The floor sells $WORK at a fixed rate: 1 ETH = 1,000,000. No oracle, no drift — the rate is part of the deployment.
02
BURN TO HIRE
Hiring destroys the $WORK — it is never collected by anyone. Supply only falls. That is the whole deflation story: structural, not promised.
03
THE TRADER GETS A WALLET
Every Trader has a dedicated on-chain account, its address knowable before it exists. Load it, drain it, point it — control follows the token when it trades hands.
04
KEEP IT EMPLOYED
Burning more $WORK sets a Trader's duty clock. ON DUTY is a status the chain reports. It is not a yield: no reward distribution is active.
THE FINE PRINT, IN LARGE TYPE
Chain Traders is infrastructure, not a promise. Nothing on this page is financial advice; nothing guarantees returns; markets carry risk. NO REWARD DISTRIBUTION IS ACTIVE — employment is an on-chain status, and the dedicated wallet is a tool you control. Read the concept in full on X. UNOFFICIAL: an independent project, not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, Inc.
DEPARTMENT 05
QUESTIONS AT THE WINDOW
■What exactly am I buying?
A Trader: one of 7,500 on-chain characters whose art lives entirely in the contract, plus control of that Trader's dedicated wallet. You pay today's posted rate in $WORK, and the $WORK is burned — never collected.
■Is the dedicated wallet real?
Yes — a contract account deployed per Trader. Its address is derived from the token id and predictable before it exists. Only the current holder of the token can move anything out of it. The project holds no key to it and has no function that can touch it.
■What does employing a Trader do?
It burns $WORK and sets the Trader's duty clock, which anyone can read on chain. Today that is the entire effect. No rewards are being distributed, and this page will say so for as long as that is true.
■Can the team mint for free?
No. There is no team allocation and no function in the contract that mints without burning $WORK — the deployer pays like everyone else.
■What happens when my Trader is sold?
The wallet goes with it. Control is checked against the token's current holder at call time, so the buyer controls the desk the moment the transfer lands. Drain it first if you do not intend to sell the float.
